Afrigo band, through their executive director James Wasula, have disclosed that they are dragging singer Sadat Mukiibi a.k.a Khalifah AgaNaga to court over copyright infringement.
While addressing journalists, Mr. Wasula stressed that Afrigo Band through their lawyers are nearing toward finalising the file that they will table in court accusing AgaNaga of using their property without consent.
He thoroughly explained that if the Bad Character Records boss is found guilty, he will have to dig deep in his pockets to foot for the expenses, losses, and damages he caused to the band.

Wasula added that previously when he held a meeting with AgaNaga he sounded arrogant and went ahead to chide them about driving old cars.
He thinks we forgot about the incident but yesterday I was with our lawyer and we finalised the file to go to court and he will have to pay a huge sum of money.
And those things he is claiming that he only did a cover, he is going to taste the bitter part of it. He will have to pay money.
In reference to what AgaNaga is bound to face, Mr. Wasula gave the example of American star Shakira as she had to pay a huge sum of money for using South African sound in her 2010 World Cup song since she hadn’t sought for permission.
He also highlighted how live events singer Henry Mayanja faced their wrath for performing their songs at events.
