Alex Muhangi to Gift King Saha Two Cows for Loyalty During Legal Fight with Bebe Cool
Popular Ugandan comedian and Comedy Store UG founder, Alex Muhangi, has publicly commended singer King Saha for offering support during his ongoing legal standoff with legendary artist Bebe Cool.
In a heartfelt statement, Muhangi revealed that despite providing a platform that financially benefits many Ugandan musicians, very few have stepped forward to stand by him in his moment of trouble. King Saha, however, proved to be the exception.
“Many artists earn money from performing at Comedy Store, but when Bebe Cool dragged me to court, King Saha was the only one who stood with me,” Muhangi shared. “To show my appreciation, I’m going to gift him two cows.”
The comedian is currently entangled in a lawsuit filed by Bebe Cool, who accuses him of violating neighboring rights by using his music without proper authorization during Comedy Store events.
He expressed disappointment at the lack of solidarity from other artists who have previously graced his stage and earned from his platform.
