Arsenal’s Premier League title aspirations took another hit today as they were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Everton at Goodison Park.
The contested match, played on Saturday afternoon, saw both sides share points in a result that leaves Arsenal with more questions than answers in their pursuit of the league crown.

The Gunners dominated possession in the first half however their failure to convert further chances left the door open for a resilient Everton side.
The Toffees responded early in the second half, leveling the score in the 49th minute via a penalty kick. Iliman Ndiaye stepped up confidently to convert the spot-kick after referee Craig Pawson pointed to the spot following a foul by Arsenal’s Jurriën Timber on Jack Harrison in the box.

Everton’s defense, marshaled by James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite, stood firm against Arsenal’s late pressure, with Pickford making a crucial saves.
