Some years ago, Irene Ntale decided to part ways with Swangz Avenue to pursue a solo career. While she expressed dissatisfaction with the label at the time, she never revealed the exact reasons behind her decision.
Benon Mugumbya, co-founder of Swangz Avenue, recently shared that her departure was deeply painful for him. He described Ntale as one of Uganda’s most talented artists and believes they could have achieved much more together.
“It was heartbreaking when Irene left. She’s incredibly gifted, and I truly believe we had the potential to go even further as a team,” Benon said during a television interview.
