Controversial Ugandan musician Gloria Bugie has shared her fears and hesitations surrounding pregnancy, revealing that despite her deep love for children, the thought of going through pregnancy terrifies her.
In a heartfelt revelation, Bugie admitted that the stories she has heard about pregnancy and childbirth have left her anxious and emotionally unsettled. According to the singer, the physical and emotional toll associated with pregnancy has made her wary of the experience.
“I genuinely love children, but the thought of being pregnant really scares me,” she said. “There are so many heartbreaking stories I’ve heard, and they’ve made me reluctant to go through that journey, even though I know it’s a natural part of life.”
Despite her fears, Bugie has a unique prayer—she hopes that when the time comes, God blesses her with three children in one pregnancy so that she only has to experience it once.
“I always pray to God that my first pregnancy gives me triplets,” she explained. “That way, I won’t have to go through it again. Pregnancy seems like a lot of work, and it honestly frightens me. But deep down, I still know I want to have kids.”
However, Bugie made it clear that she is not yet ready to embrace motherhood. She emphasized that while having children is definitely in her plans, she wants to make that step only when she feels fully prepared—both mentally and emotionally.
“I’m not ready to have kids right now,” she concluded. “I’ll take my time, and when the right moment comes, I’ll embrace it wholeheartedly”
