Irene Ntale has opened up about her relationship with Vincent Kalibbala, revealing that they first met in 2016.
Ntale explained that she chose to keep her relationship private as she nurtured it over the years.
She described Kalibbala as an “awesome person” and admitted that she had no idea back in 2016 that she had met the man who would eventually become her husband.
I kept my relationship private as I built it silently. He’s an awesome person, and I think we met in 2016, but we were friends first. I didn’t actually know that in 2016 I had met my husband.
The singer also reflected on her prayers for a life partner, not realizing that the right person had been there all along.
I used to pray to God to find a man and settle, but the whole time, he was there, and luckily, one thing led to another.
Despite societal expectations, Ntale revealed that she never felt pressured to get married, and her mother never pushed her into it.
She expressed gratitude for finding love in her own time.
Surprisingly, I didn’t feel the pressure (to get married), and my mother has never pressured me to get into marriage. But now, I thank God that I found my man. He’s my biggest supporter, and every song I record, I first sing for him.
