King Saha has expressed his frustration after an incident involving the Katwe Division Police Commander (DPC), who abruptly disrupted his Easter Sunday performance at Calendar Hotel in Makindye.
According to Saha, the disruption occurred just as he was preparing to perform “Akamwanyi.” the DPC stormed the stage and ordered the music to be cut off, halting the show. This move was met with loud disapproval from the crowd, who booed in protest and demanded the show continue.
In an interview with BM Focus, an evidently angered King Saha issued a stern warning to the DPC, stating that any future interference with his performances would not go unanswered. He emphasized that he had no personal quarrel with the officer but was puzzled and disappointed by his actions.
"I don’t know why you felt the need to interrupt my performance. You chose the path of being an officer; I chose music. I may not be your friend, but I’m certainly not your enemy," Saha said, expressing that the officer gave no explanation for stopping the performance.
King Saha went further to warn that if a similar incident occurs again, he would retaliate potentially targeting the families of those who disrupt his shows, claiming not all of them are in the security forces.
“He might think he’s tough, but I’m tougher,” Saha said. “If he messes with me, I might come for one of his family members. The world doesn’t revolve around one person—it won’t end well if he tries that again.”
