Ndejje University, one of Uganda’s pioneering private institutions, is holding its 26th Graduation Ceremony today at its Main Campus in Luweero.
This milestone event, themed "Achieving Excellence Through Knowledge," marks the culmination of years of dedication and academic rigor for hundreds of students across various faculties, celebrating their transition into the next phase of their lives.
The ceremony kicked off at 8:00 AM, with early arrivals of graduates, faculty, families, and distinguished guests setting a festive tone.
The graduation is to feature the conferment of certificates, diplomas, and degrees across multiple disciplines, from the Faculty of Science & Computing to Social Sciences and Arts, among others.

The university’s leadership, including Acting Director of the Graduate School Dr. Henry Buwule Musoke and Academic Registrar Dr. Mary N. Mutyaba Wanda, has emphasized the institution’s commitment to producing graduates of integrity who contribute to national and global development. The event also underscores Ndejje’s mission of providing Christian-based, high-quality education, a value rooted in its founding ethos.
As the ceremony unfolds, it’s not just a moment of personal triumph for the graduands but also a testament to Ndejje’s enduring legacy as Uganda’s oldest private university and one of its fastest growing.
With approximately 10,000 students and 500 staff, the institution continues to play a vital role in shaping the country’s educational landscape.
