Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P, has publicly addressed the long running feud with his twin brother, Paul, shedding light on the factors that led to the split of the iconic music duo, P-Square.
The brothers, once celebrated as one of Africa's biggest musical acts, have been embroiled in a bitter dispute that garnered widespread attention, particularly after Peter's involvement in Paul's arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
"Fans are the reason P-Square is no longer together today. Two brothers doing the same thing, and you keep saying one is better than the other, it gets into one person’s head, and that’s when the trouble starts." he said.
The tension between the twins escalated when Peter Okoye accused Paul of being untruthful about the composition of their tracks. During a previous interview, Paul had claimed that he was the primary composer of most of P-Square’s songs, while also revealing that his arrest by the EFCC had been orchestrated by Peter himself.
