Sheilah Gashumba Supports G-Strings Over Cotton Knickers for Airflow and Comfort

Media personality and socialite Sheilah Gashumba opened up about women's hygiene and personal habits during an interview with Kasuku. Among the topics discussed was her opinion on the type of underwear women should wear.
Sheilah backed Gloria Bugie’s earlier comments criticizing the regular use of traditional knickers. She agreed with the singer’s view, saying it raised valid points about hygiene and comfort.

According to Sheilah, women should consider wearing G-strings instead of full-coverage cotton knickers. She explained that G-strings offer better airflow, while tight cotton underwear can trap heat and cause discomfort in sensitive areas, especially in hot weather.
Sheilah also commented on the hygiene challenges of wearing fully covered clothing, particularly for Muslim women. She said that if she dressed in such attire, she would personally take up to six showers a day to stay fresh, emphasizing that cleanliness should be a top priority, especially when wearing clothes that cover most of the body.
