Ugandan music star Cinderella Sanyu, popularly known as Cindy, has officially announced her next solo concert. This marks a significant return for the self-proclaimed King Herself, who hasn’t headlined her own individual show in recent years.
While the exact venue and ticket pricing remain under wraps for now, Cindy confirmed that preparations are already underway. She is actively seeking sponsors to support the upcoming event, which she hopes will match or even surpass the scale of her successful 2021 concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
In 2023, Cindy dominated headlines after going head-to-head with fellow artist Sheebah Karungi in a widely publicized music battle at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, a night that drew thousands and stirred up long-standing comparisons between the two divas. The battle proved Cindy’s staying power in Uganda’s dynamic music scene.
More recently, she performed alongside Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru during the highly anticipated Blu*3 reunion in 2024.
